Monster bunkers allow you to customize your defenses by placing inside of them any combination of monsters you choose. Zafreeti and Teratorn cannot be placed in bunkers. If defending from your main yard any monsters contained can receive the buff from Fomor if/when he is in range. The monsters that are placed in the bunkers will also determine what monsters it can attack. Only if the bunker contains D.A.V.E. with Rockets, or Eye-ra with Airburst can it attack airborne monsters Fomor, Zafreeti and Teratorn. An important stratigic coment regarding bunkers is to ensure that they are centered in your base so that monsters cannot be 'baited' out and killed prior to starting the attack on your yard, this can be less important depending on what is in the bunkers. A bunker full of Eye-ras sitting on the outside of a yard could be nullified with a handfull of Pokeys, once it is emptied defensive monsters such as Ichi and Crabatron will not attack it until all other defenses are down.
