05/28/2013: Bye BYM..

About 2 hours after I posted the update below there was a game update that moved everyone to map 3.. or I suppose just "the map" now. It was fun, 378 outposts and just over 18 billion empire points got flushed. If no one heard before, or you aren't there yet, I'm going to be playing Robot Rising!

05/28/2013: Map 2!?!

This is the message that was displayed on May 9th for players that were still on map 2. This message would again be displayed if you go to any of your outposts, load your main yard, attack someone or a wild monster tribe.. etc.

On May 16th the above message began to appear in Backyard Monsters, just as annoying and repeatative as the one before. I understand that it does say "approximately a week" but it is currently May 28th and I am not aware of anyone from my alliance being forcefully moved. There have been some chose to go early, but the map is still just about as populated now as it was on May 9th.

Don't get me wrong, I appriciate that I have not been moved to map 3. Like many other players I have seen and played on map 3 and I am not a fan. I believe that it is a differnet game, no longer like the BYM we all know and love. I will continue until the bitter end (of map 2), although this message did make me curious about other games that may be out now. There may come a time (eventually) when BYM may not be the best game out there anymore..

In all of the confusion I decided to try a new game. Something came up called Robot Rising, graphics looked pretty impressive for a Facebook game so I thought I would try it out. Been a few weeks and hours of game time later and still very entertained. I don't think that I will go to the detail with another game the way that I did with BYM, but I think that it is time to open up this blog to other games as well. Anyone that follows my YouTube channel may have seen I put up a piece some time ago about Trials in GO2. GO2 is a little too much for me, after you farm RI8 for the 200th time you realize without paying (a lot) to advance this is going to get old.

I am always on the look out for a new game, post below if you find a good one. Looking for action games, free to play, pay to win, facebook perferred, but anything online.
